Bernadette: The Princess of Lourdes

It’s February 11, 1858. Three girls from Lourdes, France, gather firewood in front of a grotto. Suddenly one of them, Bernadette Soubirous, 14, drops to her knees, gazes ecstatically at something beautiful only she can see, and starts to pray. Soon the town buzzes: Has Bernadette, poor, sickly, and always behind in school, really seen a Lady from Heaven? Then a spring bubbles up from nowhere and withered arms and sightless eyes are cured.

At last, the Lady tells Bernadette her name: “I am The Immaculate Concepcion.”

En esta hermosa historia se relata la asombrosa visita en la cual la Reina del Cielo dejó a la humanidad una fuente de salud de cuerpo y alma.

El día 11 de febrero de 1858, tres niñas del pueblito de Lourdes, Francia, juntaban leña cerca de una gruta cuando una de ellas, Bernardette Soubirous, cayó súbitamente de rodillas ante algo que sólo ella podía ver.

Los rumores no se hicieron esperar: ¿Acaso la pequeña Bernardette – tan pobre, enfermiza y siempre atrasada en la escuela – había realmente visto a una Señora del Cielo y recibido un importante mensaje? El párroco no le creyó, el jefe de la policía quería arrestarla y el pueblo pensaba que la niña se había vuelto loca, hasta que sucesos inexplicables comenzaron a ocurrir.

Por fin, la Señora reveló su nombre a Bernardette, “Yo Soy La Inmaculada Concepción” 30 minutes.
