Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

Beautifully detailed statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  This statue is hand crafted and painted and as a result, fine details may vary.  8-1/2" tall with a 2-1/2"  base.  Imported from Columbia, made from plaster.

Saint Simon Stock had a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary, where she gave him the Brown Scapular. She promised that those who died wearing the scapular would be saved. The scapular is a devotional sacramental that symbolizes a consecration to Mary and affiliation with the Carmelite order.
