St. Martha

Beautifully detailed statue of Saint Martha.  This statue is handcrafted and painted and as a result, fine details may vary.  She measures approximately 8-1/4" tall with a 4"  base.  Imported from Columbia.

Saint Martha was Lazarus' sister and she witnessed his resurrection by Jesus. She is pictured with a dragon because legend says she tamed a dragon by sprinkling the beast with holy water while holding a cross in her hand. She is the patroness of butlers, cooks, dietitians, homemakers, and maids.
