About our dear Saint Patrick: Saint Patrick (feast day March 17) was captured as a young man in Britain and taken to Ireland as a slave. During his captivity, he grew closer to God through prayer and eventually escaped. But God called him back to Ireland as a missionary to the very people who had enslaved him! He used the three-leaf shamrock to teach the Irish about the Holy Trinity - one God in three persons. His courage, forgiveness, and dedication helped convert an entire nation to Christianity, proving that God can transform our greatest trials into our most fruitful ministry.
