About our dear Saint Joan of Arc: Saint Joan of Arc (feast day May 30) was only 17 years old. She convinced the French king to let her lead his army against the English invaders. Guided by visions of Saints Michael, Margaret, and Catherine, this humble farm girl helped save France and ensure the rightful king was crowned. Even though she was captured and martyred at just 19, she showed great courage. Her strong faith in God's call made her one of the most inspiring saints in history. She shows us that holiness and heroism can come at any age.
